Jennifer Haid CFA FSA
Jenny is the international CEO of Club Vita. Before joining Club Vita, Jenny spent five years with AIG, establishing a new international pension reinsurance capability. She also has wide consulting experience, servicing the insurance industry for seven years with EY and large multi-national pension plans for four years with WTW. Jenny is a founding member of the Society of Actuaries Longevity Advisory Group, and a past member of the Board of Directors.
Douglas Anderson FIA CERA FSA
Douglas is the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Club Vita, specializing in applying modern data science techniques to innovate in longevity and mortality risk management. Douglas has a background in pension consulting in which he has over 30 years of experience leading to the creation of Club Vita to solve many of the problems he encountered with his clients.
Mark Sharkey FIA CERA
Mark is responsible for leading the team that provides longevity analytics services to pension schemes and their advisors. In this role, Mark partners with a wide range of pension schemes and consultancy businesses to ensure they can apply Club Vita analytics to solve complex funding, investment and risk management problems. Away from the office, Mark can be found countless shots over par on the golf course, watching sport or channelling his inner Gordon Ramsey in the kitchen.
Steven Baxter FIA
Steven is Club Vita’s chief data scientist and is the driver of our serial innovation. He leads our product development and delivery through research and innovation with a multi-disciplinary team analyzing predictors and emerging trends of mortality rates and the implications of longevity risk for pension plans and insurers. He is passionate about the longevity market, having worked on many innovative transactions including the first UK pension plan longevity swap to leverage a sponsor owned insurance vehicle.
Erik Pickett PhD FIA CERA
Erik leads the dissemination of Club Vita’s insights and analytics. He began his career as a mathematician, working at a number of universities around Europe, while moonlighting as a part time street performer. He transitioned to the world of actuarial science in 2011, retaining his passion for engaging communication, training first as a pensions actuary with Mercer and Hymans Robertson and later specializing in longevity analytics with Club Vita.
Jacklyn Hopkins
As a Senior Marketing Consultant, Jacklyn engages Club Vita’s community through various content channels with a digital marketing approach. She is focused on helping the team deliver innovative marketing solutions to promote awareness of longevity risk management; ultimately improving later-life financial well-being for all. Jacklyn has a background in brand management, and brings with her a strong interest and passion for marketing. In her spare time, you can catch her in her art room ready for her next acrylic pour painting.
Jill Jamieson FFA
As Head of Pensions for Club Vita UK, Jill’s primary focus is to implement Club Vita’s vision of improving access to cutting edge data-science tools and techniques in the UK pensions market. Her role involves supporting Club Vita’s pension fund subscribers and licenced pension advisers in understanding, quantifying, and managing longevity risk. Jill began her career as an actuary and has more than a decade of experience in supporting both private and public sector pension schemes in the UK. Jill was awarded the Actuarial Post Star of the Future award in 2021.
Matthew Morrow
Matthew is an experienced Longevity Analyst who oversees the UK Data Operations Team. The team are responsible for processing and analysing the data received from UK Club members. Prior to joining Club Vita, Matthew had over 10 years’ experience in both third-party and in-house defined benefit pensions administration. Matthew also actively plays a role in the development of Club Vita’s software systems.
Conor O'Reilly
Conor is our head of analytics at Club Vita. Having joined Hymans Robertson straight from University in the last millennium, he qualified as an actuary in the pensions consultancy, before helping with the launch of Club Vita in the UK, and subsequently becoming a full time longevity expert. These days he’s responsible for the calibration of our VitaCurve baseline mortality tables across each of our territories, as well as a number of our internal models which help keep the systems running behind the scenes.
