ZIP code baseline model

A particular type of rating factor model used in the US which uses ZIP codes as a rating factor to reflect different longevity experience for people living in different areas.
5-digit ZIP codes can cover fairly large areas, so it is preferable to work at the ZIP+4 level to capture the most granular differences in life expectancy. Similar geographical rating factors are available in the Canada (postal code) and the UK (post-code) allowing the development of similar types of models.
