A particular type of rating factor model commonly used in the UK which uses postcodes as a rating factor to reflect different longevity experience for people living in different areas.

In the UK, individual postcodes cover the area of around 15 households so can capture significant differences in lifestyles if used at this most granular level. Similar geographical rating factors are available in the USA (ZIP+4 code) and Canada (postal code) allowing the development of similar types of models.
