Quarantine

Quarantine is the practice of separating people who are asymptomatic of a disease in order to assess whether they fall ill from the disease. 

People being quarantined may be people who have been exposed to a disease but are not showing symptoms or people who may have been exposed to the disease and do not know it. The aim is to stop the spread of a disease.
